This lot was grown in the Gedeo zone of Ethiopia, by small-holder farmers of the Idido village in Yirge Cheffe. Grown at 1800-2000 MASL in the red clay soil of Ethiopia, the coffee is selectively hand picked and carried to the local mill named “Aricha”. Here, using fresh water from nearby natural springs, the coffees are sorted for defects before being processed. Once the fruit is removed, the seeds are turned and sorted by hand while they dry on raised beds under the Ethiopian sun.
