This land has been in the Alfaro family for over 100 years, and now it is Fernando Alfaro who manages the estate. Under the shade of the natural forests of El Salvador, Fernando is growing Red Bourbon coffee trees, where they can ripen evenly and slowly. Once picked, the cherries are dried over 28 days with the whole fruit intact, giving this coffee a unique sweetness and complexity.
